Then SocialErasmus might be exactly what you are looking for!

SocialErasmus is an international ESN project, also implemented by ESN Copenhagen, aiming to involve international students in a mutual inter-cultural exchange with the locals, and engage them into dealing with some of the challenges that the host society faces.

To help and being helped has been a driving force since the dawn of humanity. However, in our busy every-day lives we tend to forget that there are others less fortunate than us and that a small gesture of solidarity can bring them a sense of belonging –or, to put it more simply: to give them positive feelings and smiles. This might be more important than we think to those living in the social and cultural margins of the Danish society.
